IN JANUARY, BLOOMING ALMOND TREES. Cicle Locally Grown Product of the Month.

Translation pending. Excursión para disfrutar de la floración de los almendros, en una época invernal en que parece que las piedras florecen. Los griegos se encargaron de difundirlos por la Mediterránea, y muy pronto fueron apreciados por sus múltiples utilidades:  medicinales, culinarias, afrodisíacas,... Estaremos pendientes de la previsión meteorológica por si la ola de frío retarda la floración.

A la excursión os llevaremos para desayunar "menjar blanc", un postre que ya elaboraban los monjes cartujanos hecho todo de almendra. Os animamos a compartir postres que hagáis con almendras, las recetas de los cuales podremos publicar en nuestro bloc. Y de regalo con esta excursión, una guía de Compra a Pagès!

Funny hike where Rafel is the son of the paper mill owners, and falls in love with Agnès, a worker. Which will be the reaction of his parents? Will love win class distintion? All this takes place in the stunning Brugent river valley, where more than 30 paper and flour mills settled.

Walking and beer tasting in Montferri, Catalonia, Spain

MONTFERRI, LAND OF PIRATES AND CLANDESTINE BEER. Walk combined with handmade beer.

Short hike but with wide views over this territory attacked by the pirates on their way inland. We will walk uphill to their watchtower and we will learn their history, as we look over a huge territory at our feet. We combine the activity with a guided visit and tasting in the handcrafted brewery located in Montferri, Alt Camp.

AN INHABITANT OF MONTSANT CAVES. Dramatised hike combined with a wine tasting.

Half day hike to explore the underground of the Montsant Natural Park, inhabited by legendary beings. Montsant is a mountain full of suprises, one of them under our feet. The underground world of Montsant is full of different cavities of carstic origin. Small, dark and beautiful worlds to discover. With its 200 m and 15 m slope the Cova Santa is one of the biggest caves in Montsant. We combine this activity with a guided visit and tasting to a cellar in Cornudella, Priorat.

TWO WORLDS IN ONE. Hike combined with a wine tasting.

Hike among the sea of vineyards that surrounds the villages of Capçanes and Marçà, in the region of the Priorat, a place where meticulously cultivated fields blend in with the forgotten ones. A great journey from past to present that we will combine with a guided visit and a wine tasting in the cellar of Capçanes, well known for the production of Kosher wine, using the Jewish tradition.
